Credentials and Professional Experience
Joe holds a Master of Social Work degree from Walden University. Previous experience includes
working with the Developmentally Disabled population, case management, inpatient psychiatric
unit, and crisis work. Joe has over 7 years of experience supporting individuals facing mental
health challenges. Joe works with adolescents ages 10 and older as well as adults providing
support that is customized to meet that individual where they are and considering client needs.
Joe’s strengths include navigating through challenging mental health conditions such as
depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse and more. Other areas of strength include working
through factors such as life transitions, relationship issues, overwhelming feelings, grief/loss, andstress management.
Approach
Joe utilizes a person-centered approach catering to an individual and their current needs. His
gentle approach to sensitive subjects makes opening up about difficult topics a bit easier. Joe’s
knowledge and implementation of evidence-based practices and individual specific consideration
makes for efficient and effective outcomes for the client. His laid back style is far from rigid and
can be comforting when navigating through life stressors. Joe respects clients' preferences to take
steps at their own pace and supports them fully throughout the duration of the therapeutic
process.
